Draw So Cute

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1

First, we will depict the head and body of our fairy tale character. You can immediately notice very unusual ratios. We see a large long head and a very short flattened body. Cervical defect.

Step 2

Our elves have very short arms. And from this angle, they look even shorter. As you can see, each arm is made up of two circular shapes.

Step 3

Now draw the legs of our elves. We do not see a clear separation between the thighs and shins, each leg is a separate circle. Please note that the toes of the boot should point upwards.

Step 4

Let’s draw the eyes of our elves. Place these two ovals on top of the head. Inside the ovals, draw small circles – these are the pupils.

Step 5

We draw facial features to create a recognizable shape of the elves. Add a wide nose and a smiling mouth. The mouth is like two smooth lines. Don’t forget about the bottom line.

Step 6

So we continue the drawing tutorial on how to draw a goblin. Draw the contours of the hat. This is one of the most recognizable details of a leprechaun’s appearance, so work as hard as you should at this step. The hat should be slightly skewed to the left.

Step 7

Goblins with no beard? Perhaps if we were talking about a very young elf. But we are drawing a classic elves which means we can’t do without elves. Please note – the length of the beard is equal to the length of the part of the face between the beard and the hat.

Step 8

So it’s time to draw the ears. We found the ears to be quite large. The length of the ears is equal to the distance from the bottom edge of the mouth to the hat.

Step 9

Draw fists. These parts of the body look like ovals divided into sections by short smooth lines – the fingers.

Step 10

We draw the elements of the clothes. Again we don’t see anything out of the ordinary – this is a classic Irish elf costume. We draw the bottom edges of the jacket, a pair of buttons and a sweater. I wonder if they ever heat up.

Step 11

So in this step, we will depict shorts and stockings in an oblique pattern. Near the bottom edge of the pants should be small folds that look like longitudinal obliques.

Step 12

Usually, goblins are older men. So our elves need a small staff. Let’s draw it.

Step 13

That’s the theme to depict the buckles on our elves’ shoes. These are rectangles with a border and a slight bend. Also don’t forget about the soles of the shoes.

Step 14

Please appreciate our elves. Is everything okay with the pose? Is the ratio normal? And is there a sly grin on this amazing character’s face? Then we can remove the extra lines and move on to the next stage.

Step 15

In other lessons (like the one on jeans, for example) we might say that you can choose any color, but now this won’t happen. The goblin has a green suit and a red beard. Let’s show this in our drawing.

So that’s the goblin drawing tutorial that HTDraw team has prepared for you. We hope that you have felt your progress in art after completing this lesson. See you soon, dear readers of HTDraw.com!
