Totoro drawing step by step guide below
Step 1. Draw a small leaf on Totoro’s head
First, draw a small leaf on top of Totoro’s head as shown.
Step 2. Sketch Totoro’s body
Sketch Totoro’s shape with a large oval, on top of which add Totoro’s rabbit-like ears with a series of short curved lines that form an arrow-like shape. On either side of Totoro’s body are a series of smooth straight lines and draw the hands that fit snugly against the body. Add the fingers at the bottom.
Step 3. Belly
Draw a large round belly at the bottom middle of the body.
Step 4. Legs
At the bottom of the body, add short wide feet. At the bottom, depict small fingers, with the fingertips pointing in different directions.
Step 5. Face
In this step we draw Totoro’s round eyes, add an oval nose, a small mouth that is almost a dot, and a mustache to complete Totoro’s cute face.
Step 6. Add Details
Use pairs of curved lines to draw some boomerangs or curved triangles on Totoro’s chest and belly.
Step 7. Coloring
Color Totoro. He is a grayish brown with a cream colored belly.
