Easy Snake Drawing Step by Step

Step 1

Okay guys, like most of my tutorials, it’s best to start with something simple to draw. Start your drawing with basic instructions that create the foundation for the object to be placed on. Make a semi-perfect circle for the head and quickly draw curves.

Step 2

Next, start drawing your snake’s head. I will start with the eyebrows and the base of the head, then move on to the muzzle.

Step 3

Then move on to drawing the rest of the face, as well as a few strokes to shape the body. The faster you draw curves, the better your chances of creating a desired curve!

Step 4

Finally, finish the body and the scales inside. By giving subtle hints of proportions, you’ll create an image of a textured snake, in a simple format! Take your time when drawing the coil below the tail.

Step 5

This is what your line work will look like! If you’re not completely satisfied with the results of your work, don’t worry, just try again! No artist can draw well from the first shot.
