Step 1. Sketch the head
Start by drawing the curved outline of the python’s head.
Step 2. Add faces
Next, add an oval for the eye. Then, draw a dot for the nostril.
Step 3. Shape the body and tail
Now, draw a long wavy shape that connects to the head to form the body. Don’t forget to make the tip of the tail!
Step 4. Draw the pattern
Draw wavy ring shapes to add markings on the reptile’s body.
Step 5. Add a branch
Let’s add a branch by drawing two wavy diagonal lines.
Step 6. Complete the python drawing
Let’s complete our drawing of the boa constrictor! First, color the eyes with a black pencil. Add some shimmer to the eyes with a white pencil. Next, color the marks on the snake’s body using light brown and dark brown pens.
