You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1

Start by drawing the guide lines which will help you draw Chase. First, draw two circles, which will form the head and the body. Draw a horizontal oval crossing the bottom of the top circle; this will help you describe Chase’s jaws. Then draw two small ovals under the circles. These will become Chase’s paws.

Step 2

Inside the horizontal oval, draw a long curved line. It should extend to the edge of the oval, descend to cross the top of the lower circle, meet the oval on the opposite side and enter it. This describes Chase’s jaws.

Step 3

Draw Chase’s police puppy hat. Use a long curved line to surround an irregular shape above the top circle. Circle another irregular shape below. Strip this shape with several horizontal curved lines, creating the beak of the hat.

Step 4

Erase extra lines from the face, leaving a crisp outline. Then draw the ears. For each, extend a pair of curved lines from the side of the head and let them meet at one point. Then extend two more lines in the ear, creating a pointed shape parallel to the first. Then draw the nose and the mouth. Draw an upside down triangle with rounded corners to form the nose. Draw a pointed and curved shape on top to indicate a sparkle. Draw curved lines extending from the sides and bottom of the nose and shade the points between them. Use curved lines to draw the mouth, teeth and tongue.

Step 5

Draw the eyes. Draw curved lines above the cheeks, then circle two partial ovals on either side. Inside the ovals, draw two successively smaller circles and shade them between them. Draw the curved and pointed eyebrows between the two ovals.

Step 6

Use curved lines to sketch out the uniform and collar of Chase’s police puppy. Next, draw arrowhead shapes to form his puppy label and the logo on his hat. Draw a paw print in the hat logo to form the paw patrol emblem and draw a star in its puppy tag.

Step 7

Draw the legs using pairs of curved lines extending from the uniform shoulders to the small paw ovals. Detail the toes and paw using overlapping curved lines.

Step 8

Draw her belly using a curved line between the forelegs. Draw the hind legs and paws using curved lines.

Step 9

Draw a zig-zag line above each leg.

Step 10

Color your Chase cartoon.
