Step 1. First draw the observation floors
First, draw the rectangle of Tokyo Tower’s observation deck. Add some texture to the bottom part by forming vertical lines.
Step 2. Sketch the body of the tower
Sketch the main structural shape of the tower similar to the illustration. Then, attach the thin, vertically shaped antenna to the top of the tower.
Step 3. Start creating the frame
Begin creating the frame of the tower by drawing three long lines as shown.
Step 4. Add horizontal frames
Add evenly spaced horizontal lines along the tower body.
Step 5. Sketch the diagonal frame
Sketch the diagonal frame, also known as the grid pattern, by drawing a series of zigzag lines across the body of the tower.
Step 6. Complete the drawing of Tokyo Tower
Add some color to our Tokyo Tower drawing! First, color the observation decks with a light gray pencil. Now, shade the antenna with a red pencil. Next, color the tower body with red and white pencils. Then add some shading to the edges of the tower using darker reds and grays.
