Step 1. Form the base
Forms the thin rectangular background of the Sydney Opera House.
Step 2. Sketch the Concert Hall Foyer
Draw a rectangle with a diagonal line attached to form the outline of the concert hall lobby.
Step 3. Add Windows
Draw two horizontal lines to add windows.
Step 4. Draw the terrace
Forming a wide terrace above the base of the opera house.
Step 5. Sketch the sails facing forward
Now, draw the oval outline of the sail facing forward as shown.
Step 6. Add the opening of the sail
Outline the opening of the sails by drawing curved vertical lines.
Step 7. Attach the glass window
Shape the glass windows attached to the sail by drawing curved vertical lines.
Step 8. Draw the sail facing backwards
Draw the outline of the sail towards the back attached to the end of the sail drawn in the previous steps.
Step 9. Complete the drawing of the Sydney Opera House
Let’s add some color to our Sydney Opera House drawing! First, use a vivid blue pencil to fill in the windows. Next, use gray to color the sail. Now, color the terrace and the front of the concert hall using an orange pen. Then, use a dark gray pencil for the background of the opera house.
