Step 1. First sketch the walls
Draw rectangular outlines of the walls.
Step 2. Now form the roof
Create the shape of the roof similar to the illustration.
Step 3. Add beams
Draw three horizontal rectangles to form the beam.
Step 4. Next Attach the pillars
Attach four vertical posts below the beam.
Step 5. Draw the door
Sketch the arched door.
Step 6. Create decorative arches
Draw four decorative arches on the walls of the Alamo.
Step 7. Add Windows
Add rectangular window.
Step 8. Sketch the base
Outline the base by drawing a horizontal line.
Step 9. Complete the Alamo drawing
Let’s grab colored pencils and color our drawing of the Alamo! First, color the windows with dark brown and blue colored pencils. Next, shade the door with a dark brown pencil. Now, use a light brown pen to color the decorative arches and plinths. Then, shade the walls, beams and columns with a shade of yellow.
