Materials
- Paper

- Red, yellow, and dark red markers, crayons, or colored pencils
Step 1: Draw the outline of the flag
Start by drawing a rectangle on your paper. The flag of Spain has a ratio of 2:3, so you can use your ruler to draw a rectangle that is twice as wide as it is tall. The dimensions can vary depending on the size you want to draw.
Step 2: Divide the flag
Use your ruler to divide the flag into three horizontal stripes of equal height. The top and bottom stripes are red, while the middle stripe is yellow.
Step 3: Add the coat of arms (optional)
In the center of the yellow stripe, you can optionally draw the coat of arms of Spain. This consists of a shield containing the royal seal flanked by two crowned pillars, topped with a royal crown. You can draw a simplified version of the coat of arms using basic shapes like rectangles, circles, and triangles.
