Step 1

Start this first step by drawing a few tutorials to make your car’s frame. You may need a ruler for this part of the lesson, so keep that in mind. First, draw a shape similar to a folded sailor hat made from newspaper. You will then add two vertical dashes that will later be for the tires.

Step 2

Now, using the instructions you drew in step one, start sketching the tail, roof and roof of this muscle car. Then you will draw out the front part of the car which is the grille and then the bottom frame with rounded lines for the tire. Don’t forget to take your time as you go along.

Step 3

This is the next step that is a bit tricky and may take some time to complete. You will continue to draw out the shape and style of the car starting with the shape of the windows and then the side mirrors. Once done, you can then trace the defined lines on the side of the rear fender and the lines on the doors. Paint around the inner wheel well to add depth.

Step 4

You will now start sketching the design of the rear rim as you see here. Once done, add more lines to complete drawing out the shape of the roof and window outline. You will then add detailed lines to the side of the snorkel on the hood and then draw the inner circle for the front wheel rim. Finally, pull out and shade in the silencer under the passenger side doors.

Step 5

This is your final drawing step and what you will do now is finish drawing the rim design on the front wheel. You will then color the wheel as you see here and then finish drawing the details down to the front fender as well as the rear fender. Don’t forget to write the word “Charger” behind the following window and then erase the guides and shapes that you drew in step one.

Step 6

Once done, you will get a muscle car that looks like the one above. All you have to do now is color it in any color you want. You just finished this lesson n how to draw a 1969 Dodge Charger car step by step.
