Step 1. First form of the Aisle
First, draw a stack of thin rectangular strips to form the walkway of the Lotus Temple.
Step 2. Next draw the base
Next, draw the base by creating two wide horizontal lines.
Step 3. Now form the input petals
Now, create the outline of the petals in front by drawing five curved V-shaped lines attached to the base. Then, draw curved lines on each petal similar to the illustration.
Step 4. Add the outer petals
Add the outer petals by drawing four tall V-shaped lines. Don’t forget to add some space in between the outer petals.
Step 5. Sketch the inner petals
Then, form the innermost petals by drawing taller V-shaped lines close together.
Step 6. Complete the drawing of Hoa Sen Pagoda
Let’s add some life to our Lotus Temple drawing with a splash of fun color! First, color the walkway with a brown pencil. Next, fill the top part of the base layer with dark gray and the bottom part with a dark brown pencil. Now shade the inner walls of the petals at the entrance with a maroon pencil. Finally, draw the petals of the Lotus Pagoda with a light blue pencil.
