Step 1
To start our guinea pig, we first need to draw a large pea shape for its body.
Step 2
Next, draw the hamster’s small triangular nose into a small curve for the mouth on the front of the pea shape.
Step 3
Next, draw the hamster’s small almond-shaped eye, about halfway through its body.
Step 4
Now we will need to draw the hamster’s large oval ears located on top of its head.
Step 5
Guinea pigs have extremely short legs, so we’ll draw a small bump at the bottom of the body to suggest a leg. Underneath that bump, draw the hamster’s tiny paws with a few sharp toes.
Step 6
Repeat the previous step to draw the hamster’s forelegs and paws.
Step 7
Now we will need to sketch the pattern on our guinea pig. Your hamster comes in a variety of shapes and colors, so feel free to get creative for this step!
Step 8
All that’s left to do now is to paint our guinea pig a bit. I chose the standard white and brown colors, but guinea pigs also come in beige, gray, black, tanned, braided, and more!
