Step 1
First, let’s start by drawing an oval circle. This will be that snake head. Then draw a long square line for the body frame.
Step 2
What you do in this part is outline the lines for his lower body and start adding some shape to his head.
Step 3
As you can see, it starts to look like a snake. The definition you drew in the previous step is the outline for his open mouth. The snake now looks like a small pillar. Draw his eyes and fangs in this step.
Step 4
Put some more body lining and move on to the next step.
Step 5
This is one of the longest parts of the sketch. You have to sit there and draw each line separately on his lower part. Move up to his mouth and outline his breathing tube.
Step 6
In this step it will take you longer to draw all those little circles all over the snake’s body. Remember the scales should be even except when you move to the top. This sketch took up the most time for me.
Step 7
So you’re done. All that’s left to do is erase the outline lines and color if you want.
