Step 1
So first of all we need to draw the skeleton of our superhero. Draw the head in the form of an oval. Next, outline the spine, chest, and pelvis. Then outline the arms and legs. If you have watched a lesson on a man, you already know that in the first steps we only use very light lines.
Step 2
Draw the horizontal line of the eyes and the symmetrical vertical line of the face. Again, these two lines must converge exactly at the bridge of the nose and near the center of the face. Now draw the neck using a short cylinder. After this sketch, sketch the elongated body closer to the waist.
Step 3
We keep adding mass to our Gambit to make him more like a dummy. Draw round shoulders, cylindrical arms and hands. In the right hand sketch the stick. Next, outline the legs in the form of an elongated cylinder and the knees in the form of a circle.
Step 4
Now let’s start adding details to our Gambit and of course we’ll start doing this from the face or rather from the eyes. Using the horizontal line from the second step, carefully line your eyeliner and brows above your eyes.
Step 5
Continue drawing tutorial on how to draw Gambit from X-Men. Here we continue to draw the face. Gently draw out the nose using a vertical line from the second step. Under the nose draw the mouth and move on to the next step.
Step 6
Now let’s create the face. Draw the ears with the inner grooves forming an angled chin. Then draw the hair with the help of short and curved lines. And at the end of the step draw the mask line and the neck line.
Step 7
Now let’s move on to the body of our Gambit. Draw a high collar. Inside the plumage lines draw large and broad pectoral and abdominal muscles.
Step 8
Draw lines on the collar and part of the garment just below the neck. Draw sleeves with lots of pleats on them and hold hands with gloves. At the end of the step draw a long and even bar.
Step 9
Finish drawing Gambit’s jacket as shown in our example. Notice how the underside of the fur has many vertical folds. By the way, Reptile’s lab coat from one of the previous drawing lessons is somewhat similar to this one by Gambit.
Step 10
Erase all unnecessary and additional lines from the first steps draw the outline of the legs. Recall that the leg should narrow slowly at the knee and ankle area. Also draw oval knee pads.
Step 11
And in the last step of this drawing lesson we have finished drawing the legs. Rather, we need to draw the details of the outfit as shown in the example below. In this lesson, we didn’t add shadows, but you can, for example, in the Spider-Man drawing lesson.
