Step 1. First sketch the Moon
First, create the outline of the moon by drawing a large wavy circle.
Step 2. Next draw the moon’s craters
Next, draw ovals to add its craters.
Step 3. Create the shape of the crater
Add curved lines following the shape of the crater.
Step 4. Add smaller craters
Draw oval clusters to form smaller craters.
Step 5. Now form the texture of the moon’s surface
Now emphasize the rough texture of the moon’s surface by drawing short wavy lines.
Step 6. Complete the eclipse drawing
It’s time to add some color to our lunar eclipse drawing! First, use a fiery red pencil to color the blood moon. You can also add some orange to the edges. Then, use a darker red to fill in the craters.
