Step 1
Create a shape for Red’s body and then add guides for the face and legs.
Step 2
Use the tutorial to start drawing realistic body shapes. You will need to combine the left arm as the wing. Add feathers to the top of the head and then continue to step three.
Step 3
Draw at the feet and then draw the other arm/wing. Detail the tuft of hair on the head.
Step 4
Next, draw thick and square eyebrows like this and do step five.
Step 5
Finally, draw the shapes of the eyes, beak and then the markings on the belly. Delete the errors and all the instructions too.
Step 6
This is Red when you’re done. Now you can go ahead and color it to bring this bird to life.
