You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1

In order for our character to be realistic and smooth, the first action we need to do is draw a stickman. Stickman will be the basis for our future Kratos drawing. You should start with the head, drawing it in the form of a coffee bean. Then outline the spine with a simple line. On the line of the spine draw the chest and pelvis. Next outline the arms and legs and move on to the next step.

Step 2

In this step we will add some “meat” to this stickman. We start to draw from symmetrical lines on the face. Then draw a strong neck and torso, narrowing to the waist. Then, we draw the arms represented by simple shapes. Next, go down a bit and outline the pelvis and legs.

Step 3

Now it’s time to work with the details of our drawing. Using clear and bold lines, draw eyes with frowning brow. Below them draw the nose, mustache, beard, and mouth. Also in this step we draw the contours of the armor. Don’t forget to draw the ax.

Step 4

It will be a very easy step. We erase the chin contour, draw facial features and tattoo on the head. You will get a great look if you gently remove the area between the mustache and beard. Kratos’s head must be as clean as possible away from unnecessary lines and brushwork.

Step 5

Now let’s move on to Kratos’s body. Gently draw the neck. Then, move down a bit lower and pull the chest muscles. Next, describe the elements of the armor located on the front of the hull. At the end of the step, remove all unnecessary instructions from the body.

Step 6

Time to draw the arms. The hardest part of the arm is the palm of the hand. You can see two fists in this picture – if you want to draw it beautifully, don’t forget to read or article on how to draw hands. Also in this step we pull out Kratos’s main weapon – we mean his favorite ax.

Step 7

In this step we draw a piece of clothing covering the pelvis. It will be more convenient for you to draw belts in the direction from top to bottom. Don’t forget to draw the armor that covers the shin.

Step 8

Let’s work in the dark. First of all, we painted the armor. We did this using the hatch, but you can paint it with solid black. Then add shadows to the hands, main chest muscles, and legs.
