Step 1. Drawing Sand

Draw the sand by making a long wavy horizontal line.

Step 2. Shaping the Hull

Create the outline of the sunken hull by making a curved shape. Don’t forget to extend the left side of the hull and make it stick out as shown to form the bow of the ship. Then, draw curves on the hull.

Step 3. Adding the Windows

Let’s add three windows to the ship. To draw a window, draw a circle inside a circle. Next, create cracks on the windows by drawing lines as shown.

Step 4. Drawing the Boom and Mast, Sail

Now, let’s draw a long thin diagonal rectangle to form the mast of the ship. Then, draw the boom by creating a smaller diagonal rectangle attached to the mast.

First, add the sail by drawing a jagged rectangle. Next, create holes in the sail by drawing smaller sawtooth shapes.

Step 5. Add Seaweed

Sketch the seaweed on the shipwreck by drawing lines on the derrick and hull as shown. Shape the seaweed by drawing small curves on both sides of the sketch.

Step 6. Create the Underwater Plants

First, create rough circles to represent the rocks. Now, draw thin wavy vertical shapes attached to the rocks to form the underwater plants.

Step 7. Create Bubbles

Finally, draw circles to create bubbles around the shipwreck.

Step 8. Finish the Shipwreck Drawing

Finish the shipwreck drawing by coloring the hull and windows with dark brown. Next, color the derrick and mast with light brown. Now, shade the sails with yellow. Then, color the seaweed and underwater plants with green. Color the sand orange and the water blue. Don’t forget to shade the bubbles with a light blue pencil.
