Step 1
First thing, the lynx that you will draw will be drawn from the side view. Start with three circles with the top being the smallest. Add the face guides and move on to step two.
Step 2
This is the second step and as you can see all you have to do is start drawing the head of the lynx. Start with outlining the ears, and then the top of the head. Next, outline the sides of the face should be long hair lines and then draw in the shape of sharp eyes. Sketch the nose and lips, then draw the eyeballs, the tip of the nose, and then the rest of the lining for the mouth. When drawing the mouth, be sure to make the lining dark. Add some points and then outline details for the ears and neck. Although I won’t add it here, you will draw vertical tufts at the top of each ear.
Step 3
Now you will start sketching the body starting from the neck, and then draw in the hairy chest or the front part of the neck. Continue lining all the way down to the back, and then outline the tail. Draw one of the pins first and make sure to outline the leg as well.
Step 4
Now you will draw the long and smooth hind legs, then outline the hairy belly. Draw the other leg, and then move on to step five.
Step 5
All right, let’s sketch the other hind foot, then draw the back foot and toes as well. Make sure to outline the detail to the back of the leg like so, and then continue to step six.
Step 6
These arrows indicate how the hair will flow throughout the body. As you can see the hair is flowing in all directions.
Step 7
As a final step, draw points all over the body as you see here, then fill in bold color at the end of the lynx’s tail. Erase the lines and shapes before you draw in the points and then move along to see what the drawing looks like.
Step 8
