Step 1. Create cupcake liners
First, outline the shape of the cupcake liner. Then, draw evenly spaced vertical lines to add texture to the cupcake liner.
Step 2. Sketch the cupcake
Draw the outline of the cupcake by creating two short curved lines connecting the cupcake liner.
Step 3. Add frosting
Add frosting high on top of the cupcake.
Step 4. Draw the birthday candle
Attach a thin, upright candle on top of the frosting. Then, create the pointed outline of the flame.
Step 5. Add Sprinkles
Add small rectangles on top of the frosting to draw sprinkles.
Step 6. Complete the birthday cupcake drawing
It’s time to color the birthday cupcake with fun shades! First, use a blue pencil to color the cupcake liner. Next, color the cupcake with a brown pencil. Now, cover the icing with a white pencil. Then, use vibrant colors like red, blue, pink, and yellow to shade the sprinkles on top of the frosting. Finally, color the candle with red crayons and the flames with yellow and orange crayons.
