How to Draw a Gingerbread House

Step 1

The first thing you will do is draw out the shape of a simple round house. Draw the sloping roof, then draw a circle for the lollipop.

Step 2

Start drawing the roof in more detail. Ice flows down the ends of the roof like icicles when snow and rain freeze. Add some candies to the roof.

Step 3

Next, draw in the chimney like that, then over-draw around the edge of the stack. When that’s done, I pick up some more candies shot from the stack. Add more small round candies like that.

Step 4

Now the decoration begins on the roof. Add some drops of Skittles or gum in rows on your roof, then when done, draw a circle for the wreath or window.

Step 5

Next, outline the column as thick as the edges for the structure of the house, then when you’re done you can move on to step six.

Step 6

Draw beads along the base of the house, then draw a door and ice drops down the door. Above the door add more candies, then add some stripes on the posts.

Step 7

All that’s left to do now is draw the path leading to the front door, then paint a swirly lollipop on the front lawn. Erase the errors and instructions then you are done.

Step 8

Depending on how your gingerbread house is decorated, your drawing will appear like this. Color in your house and you’re done.
