You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1

So let’s start as always with the skeleton. We need it to make the drawing smooth and symmetrical. First of all, we need to draw a head in the form of an oval. Next, outline the part of the neck that enters the spine. At the lines of the spine, outline the ribcage and pelvis. Use simple lines to draw arms and legs.

Step 2

In the second step, as always, we add volume to the frame. Sketch the neck and torso in an hourglass shape. Next, outline skinny arms and legs, hip-width apart and tapered near the knees. We sketch the hand (you can learn more about it in the lesson on how to draw hands) and the feet. Don’t forget to outline the junctions on top.

Step 3

Now we need to draw some basic details. We, as always, will start from the top and we will move to the bottom. On the horizontal line of the face we draw the eyes. Right above the eyebrow depiction, and just below the nose and mouth. Next, outline the hair, a cape divided into two parts, and the lines of the garment.

Step 4

Let’s start working on the final details. Carefully draw out the contours of the face. Next, draw the eyes, small nose and full lips. Next, draw the crown and outline of the lush hair.

Step 5

Let’s scroll down and draw the body. Carefully draw the neck and part of the cape that covers the neck. Then, using smooth lines, draw the shape of the body. Next, draw the contour of the garment, taking into account all the curves of the body under the clothes. Gently remove all unnecessary lines.

Step 6

Continuing the lines of the torso gently draw the arms. Note that unlike men’s arms (e.g. Dr. Manhattan), women’s arms are not large and muscular. Draw outlines and neat hands and fingers.

Step 7

Now move to the bottom of Storm’s body. Continuing the lines of the torso, draw the contours of the legs. Pay attention to the fact that the lines should be very smooth. Remove all unnecessary guides, draw the outline of the high boots and add a few folds.

Step 8

Now let’s move on to the dark. The first thing we need to do is determine where the light is coming from. Then, taking this into account, add shadows to the least illuminated parts of Storm’s body. You can draw shadows using light-expanding mode like in this example, or draw shadows that look like areas of black and contrast, like in the Spider-Man lesson.

It was a lesson on how to draw Storm from Marvel. And now, traditionally, a few tips will not be superfluous in the process of drawing. The first thing you need to consider when drawing is the difference in proportions between a woman and a man. The female figure is more subtle and as you draw it, use more fluid lines. Also don’t forget that unlike men, women have wider hips and narrower shoulders.
