Step 1
First of all, outline the body with very light, almost invisible lines. Note that the racing car must be very low and wide. Try to repeat the contours of the bodywork as in our example.
Step 2
Now add the contours of the main body details, such as the headlights, mirrors and wheels. In this step, as in the previous step, very light lines should be used.
Step 3
Using sharp and dark lines draw the contours of the angled headlights and outline details on the hood. Try not to make mistakes and their placement on the hood.
Step 4
Now let’s draw the contours of an intricate case. Try to duplicate the contours of the case as shown in our example.
Stpe 5
We move to the top of the car and draw out a roof, windows and rearview mirror. Note that the roof should be very low, as we are drawing a race car.
Step 6
Now draw the details on the side surface of the trunk. Here we see the contour of the door, handle and air intakes. Try to repeat all the details as in our example.
Step 7
Now a very difficult step – draw the contour of the wheel and rim. Remove all unnecessary lines, which we draw in the first steps.
Step 8
Now let’s add some shadows to make our car more massive and realistic. As you probably already know, to draw shadows we need to use bold technique.
