Step 1. Draw the base shape
Let’s add some sculptures to the sides of the museum, but first we have to build the foundation for it. Draw a rectangle with a thinner rectangle attached on top as shown.
Step 2. Sketch the sculpture
Now, sketch out the shape of the sculpture attached to the top of the base.
Step 3. Add stairs
Add some stairs to the museum by drawing horizontal lines.
Step 4. Form columns
Attach four columns to the top of the stairs. To draw a column, first create a rectangle. Next, draw two vertical lines to form the main part of the column. Then, add details on top called capital letters similar to the illustration.
Step 5. Attach museum sign
First, draw a rectangle. Then write the words “MUSEUM”.
Step 6. Add roof and walls
Start by drawing the triangular roof in the middle. Add a smaller triangle on top of the sign. Then, form the edges of the museum by drawing a rectangle with a vertical line at the bottom.
Step 7. Draw the window
Draw arched windows with a cross in the middle.
Step 8. Shape the door
Form the rectangular border of the museum door. Next, add four squares. Then, draw a vertical line in the middle.
Step 9. Complete the museum drawing
Let’s bring our museum painting to life by adding some color! First, use cream colored pens to color in the museum signs, the middle of the columns, and the sculptures. Next, use a light blue pencil to color the windows. Now, use a brown pencil to color the door, the middle part of the roof, and the top and bottom of the columns. Then, use an orange pencil to color the stairs and roof. Finally, paint the museum walls with a yellow pencil.
