Step 1

Start drawing a manatee with three quarters of an oval with some bumps on its head.

Step 2

Use a wavy line for the mouth and a circle inside the half circle for the eyes. Add a very short curve going in from the top to better define the head.

Step 3

For the body, use a large oval that extends near the end of the head, leaving some space for the fins.

Step 4

Draw fins out of one side of the body. Using an oval as the base and then for the rest of the fins, the two lines converge on the left side.

Step 5

To draw the tail, on the lower and left parts of the body add the top half of the heart upside down, just slightly indented from the regular heart shape.

Step 6

Draw the rest of the fins by making a half circle at the bottom of the body, just behind the head. Your manatee is now complete! Manatees are usually gray if you want to color your manatees, but sometimes they can be brown! If you want to try something different, consider adding some green to the algae that have grown on them.
