Step 1. Draw the head
First, sketch the shape of the calf’s head. Next, draw the ears attached to either side of its head.
Step 2. Add faces
Draw two ovals for its eyes. Now, draw a curved line to outline the muzzle. Add two narrow ovals for the nostrils and a curved line at the bottom for the mouth.
Step 3. Form the body
Form a rectangular body connected to its head.
Step 4. Attach the legs
Form the shape of thin legs attached to the lower part of the body. Then, draw a curved line near the end of its leg to outline the hoof.
Step 5. Sketch the tail
Sketch its long tail at the end of its body.
Step 6. Complete the drawing of the calf
Let’s complete our calf drawing by adding some color! First, color the muzzle and inner ears with a light orange pen. Next, fill in the eyes and nostrils with a black pencil. Now, color the hooves with a gray pencil. Then, shade the rest of the calf’s head and body with an orange pen.
