First draw the body. There are two long oval segments. The top is shorter than the bottom. draw two curved lines to make the antennas from the top segment of the body.
Now draw the left wing. The top of the wing is triangular. It attaches to the top segment. The bottom part of the wing is square and attached to the bottom.
Draw the exact same wings on the right side.
Add some ovals on the top of the left wing.
Continue adding smaller oval shaped and circle shaped patterns on the top part of the left wing.
Now draw some ovals on the bottom of the wing. These lines start at the top corner of the lower wing.
Continue adding smaller circle shaped patterns on the bottom outer part of the wing.
Draw an oval shape on the upper part of the right wing. Try to make these models a reflection of the patterns you paint on the left.
Continue adding smaller circle shaped patterns on the top outer part of the right wing.
Draw some oval shaped patterns on the bottom part of the right wing. Do your best to make them the exact mirror image of the patterns on the left wing.
Keep drawing smaller circle shaped patterns on the bottom outer part of the right wing.
Finally coloring the butterfly, so that the colors are colorful.
