Step 1. First, draw sand
First, draw sand at the base of the palm tree by creating a short wavy line.

Draw the palm tree trunk by drawing long, curved lines.

Draw the midrib of the palm leaf by creating curved lines branching from a common point.
Step 4. Create the shape of the leaves
Create the shape of the leaves by making zigzag lines around the midrib as shown.
Step 5. Create background
Let’s create the background for our beach sunset drawing by first drawing a long horizontal line down the middle. Next, add two wavy horizontal lines to draw the sand. Then, form clouds with a bumpy round shape.
Step 6. Add a sunset
Add a sunset by drawing a semicircle.
Step 9. Complete the drawing of the sunset on the beach
Let’s complete the beach sunset drawing by first coloring the sky with a red. Next, color the clouds and sun with a yellow pen. Use a light orange pen to color the reflection of the sun in the water. Now, color the sand with a dark brown. Then, shade the palm tree leaves with a green and the trunk with a brown. Finally, color the water with a blue.
