Step 1. First draw the walls
First, draw the walls of the boathouse by creating three vertical lines connected by a horizontal line.
Step 2. Next Add the roof
Next, add the roof by drawing two slanted rectangles as shown.
Step 3. Sketch details of the boat house
Let’s sketch out the details on the house board. First, draw circles for windows and lifebuoys. Next, draw a U shape to draw the door.
Step 4. Continue drawing details of the boat house
Let’s continue drawing the details of the boat house! Start drawing inner circles on the window. Now, draw four lines on the lifebuoy and then create a thin rectangle to draw the lifebuoy hook. Finally, draw diagonal lines on the roof.
Step 5. Draw the top of the raft
Draw the top of the raft by forming a rectangle.
Step 6. Shape the sides of the raft
Form the sides of the rafters by creating short diagonal lines connected by a wavy horizontal line.
Step 7. Add detailed information about the raft
Add details at the top of the raft by forming lines as shown.
Step 8. Add background
Add the background by first drawing a long horizontal line down the middle. Next, create bumpy shapes to draw the clouds. Then, draw small wavy horizontal lines to create waves.
Step 9. Complete the boathouse drawing
Complete the houseboat drawing by coloring the walls with an orange pen. Next, shade the top and bottom of the lifebuoy, the edges of the doors and windows with a red pencil.
Don’t forget to color the left and right sides of the lifebuoy and clouds with white crayon. Now, paint the roof and inside of the window with a purple pencil. Then, color the raft with a brown pencil.
Finally, color the sky and water with different shades of blue.
