Carnotaurus Drawing

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1

First, draw an egg-shaped head and a small hole to reveal the mouth. The carnotaur had a shorter and wider muzzle than other dinosaurs like him. Draw two triangles at the top of its head to represent its distinctive bull-shaped horns.

Step 2

Draw the eyes and face, with a large circle for the eyes and large, pointed teeth at the mouth.

Step 3

Draw the body, using a bumpy line for the back, tapered from the back of the head down. Draw a line to show the slope of the lower part of the neck, the underside of the dinosaur and the V shape behind the legs and where the tail begins.

Step 4

Draw the front legs, which are even shorter than the T-Rex’s and have three fingers.

Step 5

Draw the hind legs, very long, with big thighs and narrow shins. The feet are large and flat with three pointed toes. Shows a raised leg as if the baby dinosaur is chasing its prey.

Step 6

Draw the tail. It would come straight out from the back and be very long, as arthropods like the carnotaur wore them this way for balance.
