Step 1

In this first step, you will draw out the guides and shapes of Ripjaws. Start by drawing the shape of the head along with the shape of the deformed body. Once you’ve drawn those two parts, you can draw four circles for the shoulders and hands. From the shapes you just drew, attach guides to connect all the parts.

Step 2

Now in this step you will draw Ripjaw’s face and the shape of his waist and arms. Start by drawing two round eyes and an open mouth. After drawing those two components, draw the shape of his arm and the initial shape of the garment to look like a loincloth. Then draw the outlines for the claws and the antenna lines on his head.

Step 3

Now this is step 3 and what you will do here is draw the shapes of his claws on each hand and fin-like detail on top of Ripjaw’s head as well as along the bottom. Now draw the disgusting looking teeth in his mouth and then detail a bit more on the loincloth before proceeding to the next step.

Step 4

This is the final step to drawing and detailing and what you will do is draw little things like the detailed outline for his rib cage and a little detail on the claw as shown above. Draw detailed lines on the fish like his beard and then you are ready to erase all the guide lines you drew in step 1.

Step 5
