Step 1
Erza’s outfit in this lesson is pretty simple, with a headband like the one above and some really big looking pants. To get started, you’ll need to draw the shape of her head, then create guides for her face and body as well. Next and last, drawing the pelvic area will make drawing Ezra’s entire hip a lot easier.
Step 2
Draw her head and then outline the lower part of her face like so. As you can see her face narrows past her cheeks. When that is done, outline the eyes, nose and mouth. Draw the arm and hand as you see here and then move on to the next step.
Step 3
Finish drawing her left arm and hand in a fist position, then draw the same arm liner for her chest, chest, and waist. Draw the back and then draw the flare lines for the legs to be drawn in more detail.
Step 4
Completing the outline of her legs are also her pants. Make sure to add pleated lining, pleats, and cuffs for extra detail. Draw the front zipper and then draw the waistband that fits her hips just like that. Once done, you’ll need to draw some stomach details, then start drawing her hairstyle, and then finish drawing her eyes. Shape her pretty earrings, and then begin the process of wielding the sword.
Step 5
Look at that, you’re almost done with this lesson on how to draw Erza. All you need to do now is push the large ponytail that stands on top of her head. When you’re done, you can continue to draw your sword handle and guard. Next, outline the detail in the pant leg until her clothes look like the one here.
Step 6
For the final drawing step, all you have to do is draw her bandaged top like you see here, and then draw some bandages around her waist turning into a cross in the middle. . Add some detail to the sword handle and hand guard, then pull out the blades. Finally, let’s sketch out some small details for her hair.
Step 7
After you erase your lines and shapes, you should have a great looking character like you see here. Now you can color her and add this character drawing with her other friends and teammates from Team Natsu.
