Step 1
Start with the nose. Sketch a slightly flat circle at the top and narrow at the bottom. In the middle of the circle at the bottom, draw a line about one third. Then, draw two small circles, one on each side of the line, to the puppy nostril.
Step 2
Draw a curve that starts below the nose on one side and then on the other. This is the puppy’s hat. Next, with one of your fingers, track from the middle of a curve until it looks just right, and draw a circle for the eye. Do the same thing on the other side. Color in the middle of each eye for the student, leaving a little white at the bottom.
Step 3
Visualize how far up you think you should draw the head. Once you’ve got an idea, make an oblong shape for the head. Sketch it using light, pencil strokes. If you find it a bit, just delete and lightly sketch it again. It sometimes takes a couple of times to get some area you’re just drawing right.
Step 4
Draw the tongue of the cute dog out of the mouth. Sketch it right below where you made two curvy lines for the muzzle. You can give the puppy a long tongue, distorted or just tipped out. Both are cute.
Step 5
Sketch a triangular, triangular shape for each ear of the ear. The broad section will be at the top and the pointy section will be at the bottom. Although do not make them shy. Make it a soft triangle. With many strokes, draw in some curvy lines for a droopy chin. Keep it in proportion to the whole top though. Then draw a few lines to give the puppy some wrinkles.
Step 6
Sketch a large circle on the left side of the body. The puppy is sitting on this side; That’s why it’s bigger. Starting from the right side, draw a line down from the dog’s muzzle, then up and around on the other side of the body. Next, outline the front legs. You can not see the other leg, so just add a few curvy lines to indicate that it’s there. Add a sharp tail, and have your puppy cute.
