Step 1. Draw a panda
First, draw the panda’s oval head. Next, attach curved lines to form its ears. Then, shape its body by drawing four short, curved lines.
Step 2. Add an elephant
Start by drawing a circular shape of the elephant’s head with the trunk protruding at the bottom. Now add wavy shapes on each side of the elephant’s head to form its ears.
Step 3. Form a hippopotamus
Create an outline of a hippo next to a panda. Attach short, pointed ears to its head as shown.
Step 4. Draw a giraffe
Create an elongated outline of the giraffe’s body behind the drawn animals. Then add wavy shapes to draw a spotted pattern along its body.
Step 5. Create the animals’ faces
Start by drawing the rounded outline of the animal’s eye. Next, create an oval around the panda’s eyes. Add the panda’s small triangular nose and small curved mouth. Now, draw two smaller circles to form the hippo’s nostrils and two short rectangles to draw the incisors. Then, form horn-like ossicones attached to the top of the giraffe’s head. Add a small curved line on the side of the head to form the ear. Then, create a curve for the muzzle and a small dot for the nostrils.
Step 6. Build the wall
Build the main wall of the zoo by drawing two horizontal lines.
Step 7. Add banner
Start by drawing two horizontal lines that curve downward. Next, attach a thin, vertical pole to either end of the banner.
Step 8. Write Word Zoo
Write the word “ZOO” on the banner.
Step 9. Complete the zoo drawing
Let’s color our zoo drawing! First, fill in the background of the banner with a yellow pencil and the text with an orange pencil. Next, color the columns with a blue pencil. Now, shade the wall with a red pencil. Color the animals’ eyes with a black pencil. For the elephant, use a gray pencil. For the panda, use white and light gray pencils. For the hippo, use a light pink pen. For the giraffe, use orange and light brown colored pencils.
