Step 1
Like any of our articles, this art tutorial on how to draw a pickup starts with simple geometric shapes. In this case, we start with the shapes, drawing them with very light lines.
Step 2
Now add the most important details, among them will be the large headlights and powerful grille at the front of the pickup. And on the side, creating angular arches and a rather tall window.
Step 3
We continue to build the pickup sketch, or rather create the original truck sketch. Add round wheels and a visible part of the suspension using easily erased lines.
Step 4
So, the initial sketch of the truck is ready, and now we need to go into details. Traditionally we’ll start with the pick-up’s powerful nose and track grille and angled headlights.
Step 5
The fifth stage will probably be the easiest tutorial on how to draw a pickup. The use of dark lines makes the front wheel arches and the hood large and strong. Remove unnecessary instructions from the front of the car.
Step 6
This step is going to be much more difficult, because here we will need to draw a cab of the pickup. Use bold and clear lines similar to the Drawingforall.net artists did in the image below.
Step 7
In this step we will finish creating the truck’s body. Use clear lines, which darken the truck’s cargo part, rear wheel arches and rear bumper.
Step 8
Be especially careful when you create wheels on your truck drawings. They should be as clear and symmetrical as possible. Describe the rings and remove all remaining guides.
Step 9
And the final touches will give your pickup drawing a solid feel and more depth. Using the hatch feature, add shadows and highlights in the areas shown below.
We have put in a lot of effort to make the drawing of the pickup as easy to understand and clear as possible. If the tutorial on how to draw a truck was really easy, then remember to subscribe to us on Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter to follow everything that shows up on HTdraw.com.
