Step 1

Pay attention, try and don’t get too discouraged. Start by making a circle for the animal’s head, and then draw the thick neck as wide. Then you will draw the guides for the face and antlers.

Step 2

Begin sketching the peaceful face of the deer, starting with the snake eyes and the rounded tip of the nose. Once done, you can outline the shape of the face, then thicken the lining for the deer’s neck and chest.

Step 3

Next, draw the base where the antlers will grow out. It is important to draw them this way for the sake of the accuracy of drawing them later. When drawing a realistic deer, you will have to detail the areas of muscle and fur. If you didn’t know, this is a white-tailed deer, known for its cream-colored fur on its ears, eyebrows, muzzle, tail, and chest. Deer have large nostrils – slightly slanted. Their mouth is almost connected to their nose. Once you’re done, move on to drawing the ears, then the chest hair.

Step 4

Then start drawing antlers. Please note to be patient and get the form before you draw it. Draw antlers from this view, pretty easy. Start working on the details for the eye and neck area.

Step 5

You will now begin to outline the details for the very large antlers located on this watch. Since this is also your last drawing step, you have to start erasing all the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Step 6
