Prairie Dog Drawing Step by Step
Step 1
The first step is to create two shapes, one for the head and one for the body. You will also need to draw guidelines on the face.
Step 2
Next, start sketching the actual shape of the head, then draw a face shape with the nose, lips, and bottom of the mouth. You will also need to make the lining for some of the backing.
Step 3
Draw teardrop shaped eyes, then fill them with solid color. Draw the ears and add some more details.
Step 4
Believe it or not, you need to draw both arms crossed. The undercoat should be layered to resemble fluff.
Step 5
Okay, we’ve drawn the head and some body parts, now we need to draw more body parts. Outline the back, then draw the thighs, feet, and puffy tail.
Step 6
Next, draw the remaining leg and foot, then start cleaning up the drawing so you have a nice image to color in.
Step 7
This is your prairie dog when you’re done. You now have a beautiful drawing to use in one of your creations.
