You can refer to the simple step by step drawing guide below

Step 1: Draw the Rectangle

Using your ruler and pencil, draw a rectangle on your paper. The dimensions of the rectangle should be approximately 3 units in height and 5 units in width.

Step 2: Divide the Rectangle

Divide the rectangle into four equal horizontal bands. From top to bottom, the bands should be colored as follows: dark blue, yellow, red, and dark green.

Step 3: Color the Bands

Color the top band (dark blue) with your blue colored pencil or marker.

Color the second band (yellow) with your yellow colored pencil or marker.

Color the third band (red) with your red colored pencil or marker.

Color the bottom band (dark green) with your green colored pencil or marker.

Step 4: Draw the Lion Symbol

In the center of the flag, draw a small lion symbol. Start by drawing a circle for the lion’s head. Then, add a curved line for the lion’s body. Draw two small triangles for the ears and a small triangle for the nose. Add two circles for the eyes, and draw a small curved line for the mouth. Finally, draw a tail behind the lion’s body.

Step 5: Color the Lion Symbol

Color the lion’s head and body with your yellow colored pencil or marker.

Color the lion’s mane, tail, and the outlines of its body with your dark red colored pencil or marker.

Color the lion’s eyes, nose, and mouth with your black colored pencil or marker.

Step 6: Add Finishing Touches

Once you’re happy with your drawing, go over the lines with your pencil to darken them. Erase any unnecessary guidelines or mistakes.

Step 7: Optional – Add Details

If you’d like, you can add additional details to the lion symbol, such as shading or texture, to make it more realistic.
