Step 1: Draw a rectangle and Divide the rectangle

Use a ruler and pencil to draw a rectangle on paper. The dimensions of the rectangle should be about 3 units in height and about 5 units in width. Divide the rectangle into two smaller rectangles, the left rectangle is smaller than the right rectangle.

Step 2: Continue dividing the rectangle

Continue dividing the left rectangle into 2 equal rectangles as shown

Step 3: Add texture

In the right rectangle at each corner, draw a leaf-like pattern as shown.

Step 4. Draw the lion

Draw a lion shape in the right rectangle, starting by drawing a circle for the lion’s head. Then add a curved line to the lion. Draw two small triangles for the ears and one small triangle for the nose. Add two circles for the eyes and draw a small curved line for the mouth. Finally, draw a tail behind the lion and don’t forget the sword on the lion’s front leg as shown.

Step 5: Add finishing touches

Once you’re happy with your drawing, go over the lines with a pencil to darken them. Remove any unnecessary instructions or errors.

Step 6: Color the flag

Color the flag with the following colors: yellow for the flag border and the lion, green and orange for the two small rectangles on the left, red for the large rectangle background on the right.
