Step 1. Shape the head
First, sketch the oval shape of the plesiosaurus head. Next, draw a curved V-shaped line for its mouth. Then add a small circle for its eye.
Step 2. Attach the neck
Attach the marine reptile’s long neck by drawing two curved lines.
Step 3. Sketch the back and tail
Sketch the dinosaur’s back joining the end of its neck and extending to form the short pointed tail of the plesiosaurus.
Step 4. Attach the fins
Draw four curved lines attached to its body to form the fins.
Step 5. Add teeth
Add the dinosaur’s teeth by drawing zigzag lines inside its mouth.
Step 6. Add details
To finish, draw more wrinkles on the Plesiosaurus body.
Step 7. Complete the Plesiosaurus drawing
Now color the plesiosaurus drawing! First paint the teeth white, the inside of the mouth red. Next color this marine dinosaur with a light blue pen. Finally, shade the rest of the body with a darker blue.
