You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below
Step 1:
First, let’s draw the roots. Draw medium sized lines in a row and slant in different directions towards the bottom.
Step 2:
Next, draw the trunk. Draw a long straight line going up from the leftmost base. From the far right root, draw a long line going up but slightly curving at the top.
Step 3:
Then draw the branches. From the top left side of the trunk, draw two equally spaced oblique lines. Do the same with the right side of the stem. Draw a straight line going up from the bottom of the branch you drew on the left side and another line from the bottom of the branch you drew on the right side.
Step 4:
Now draw the branches. At the end of all your branches, draw long lines that curve slightly outward.
Step 5: Draw the leaves now. From one of your branches, draw an oval to a point at the bottom. Draw another one just below it. On the inside of these ovals, draw a small line that ends in the center of the oval. Continue drawing these sets on all of your branches.
Step 6:
Finish by drawing the flowers. From one of your branches, draw oblique lines in different directions. At the end of each line, draw a small circle with small lines going out around it. Repeat this at the end of all your branches.
Interesting facts about mangroves
Mangroves are known as guardians of the rainforest. They grow on tropical rainforests just before the land turns into beaches and oceans. These cool plants grow with their roots attached so they are not damaged by seawater. The roots reach out like pillars and lift the tree above the tidal water. Due to the abundance of crabs, fish and snails use Mangrove Trees to breed.
