Step 1. Draw the head
First, draw a curved outline of the head. Next, add two circles for the eyes. Now, draw short curved lines for the nose and mouth.
Step 2. Add Earmuffs
Draw two bumpy circles, then outline the straps of the earmuffs.
Step 3. Sketch the hair
Outline the shape of the skater’s hair around the head.
Step 4. Add a scarf
Form a scarf shape around the base of the head. Add some folds by drawing short curved lines.
Step 5. Shape the body
Now, create the vertical outline of the torso. Add a vertical line down the middle for the zipper lining. Then, draw the hem at the base of the jacket.
Step 6. Add arms
Draw the curved shape of the arm attached to the torso. Then, form the outline of the glove.
Step 7. Sketch the legs
Next, sketch the shape of the legs similar to the illustration.
Step 8. Draw the ice skates
Draw the boots attached to the top of the legs. Then, form the thin outline of the blade.
Step 9. Complete the skater drawing
Complete the skater drawing by adding a little color! First, use a red pen to draw gloves, ear muffs, and scarves. Next, color the skin with a peach pencil and the hair with a yellow pencil. Now, color the eyes with a black pencil. Then, color the clothes with shades of blue. Finally, color the skates using white and light gray pens.
