Step 1. Create a sign
First, create a large sign for the grocery store by creating a rectangle. Next write the words “FOOD STORE” as shown.
Step 2. Draw the shopping cart
First, draw a trapezoid then add two circular wheels. Next, attach a diagonal rectangle to form the stroller’s handle.
Step 3. Add groceries
Now add some groceries to the cart. Draw an apple by creating a curved shape. Add the stem by drawing a curved line over the apple and attaching an oval leaf. Next, draw an elongated shape of the bread as shown.
Step 4. Sketch the walls
Outline the walls of the grocery store by drawing a rectangle.
Step 5. Shape the doors
Draw the rectangle of the door then add a vertical line down the middle. Then write the words “ENTRANCE” and “EXIT” above the doors similar to the illustration.
Step 6. Complete the grocery store drawing
Let’s color our grocery store drawing! First, color the cart with a gray pencil and the wheels with a black pencil. Use a yellow pencil to color the stroller’s handle. Fill in the background of the sign with a white pencil. Next, use a red pencil for the apple and a green pencil for the leaf. Now, use a brown pencil for the bread. Then, color the glass doors with a light blue pencil and color the door frame with a dark brown pencil. Finally, paint the walls of the grocery store with brown and white pencils.
