Step 1
Dragonflies are known for their long, thin bodies and wide, strong wings. Start your dragonfly by drawing a small circle for the head.
Step 2
Draw the dragonfly’s chest as a circle on the back of the head. Make the loop a little smaller than the head.
Step 3
Draw the long belly of the dragonfly, which looks like a tail, like a long, slender ellipse attached to the back of the chest.
Step 4
Draw the right wing in the form of a large, broad ellipse pointing upwards from the chest and a smaller, narrower ellipse towards the back an upward angle.
Step 5
Draw the right wing when the two elliptical curves face forward.
Step 6
Draw the five legs of the dragonfly visible at this corner as curves attached to the chest you drew in step 2.
Step 7
Draw big eyes of dragonflies as shaded circles. Make sure you leave the white dots on the upper right of the eye to show the reflection. Add a curved line up for the mouth.
Step 8
Last to be more beautiful, let’s color the dragonfly.
