Savanna Scenery Drawing step by step
Step 1. Draw the Ancient Tree
First, draw the winding trunk of the ancient tree. Then, draw the roots spreading outwards. Draw thin branches reaching up from the top of the tree.
Step 2. Draw the Outline of the Leaves
Draw the main shape of the leaves around the branches of each tree.
Step 3. Draw Another Tree
Continue as in steps 1 and 2, drawing another ancient tree in the middle of the savanna as illustrated.
Step 4. Draw the Grass
Draw the pointed outline of the grass by creating a horizontal zigzag line.
Step 5. Draw the Sky
Draw long, fluffy clouds in the sky and sketch a round sun near the horizon.
Step 6. Draw the Elephant
Add the animals found in the savanna by drawing two elephant heads with long, curved trunks. Draw the large elephant body attached to the head and draw thick legs as illustrated.
Add scattered patches of grass around the savanna.
Step 7. Color the prairie drawing
Color the sunset sky using shades of blue. Next, color the sun orange and the clouds light gray. Now, use darker shades of gray to color the silhouettes of the trees and elephants. Then, color the grass light green.
