Gray Fullbuster Drawing Step by Step
Step 1
Start by creating a circle for the head, then draw guide lines for the face and body. This will create a workable frame for your character.
Step 2
Now you will start sketching Gray’s muscular body starting from the neck, shoulders and arms like so. When done, outline the shape of the lower part of the face, then draw the eyes and some shapes of the ears.
Step 3
Finish outlining the arms, then draw the hands. Complete face drawing including eyes, nose and mouth. Now you can start drawing Gray’s body, which is his waist and some pants or legs.
Step 4
Draw Gray’s spiky hair to look big and sharp as well. Once that’s done, draw the necklace with the sword and then draw the bracelet on his wrist. Next and last for this step, draw the belt and then the crotch or zipper area as well as the shoes.
Step 5
Now you are ready to finish painting the grayscale. All you have to do is add some strokes to his body like abs, arm strokes, then draw details on his belt, pants and shoes. Draw his necklace on his pants, then draw and color the Fairy Tail Guild tattoo. I actually drew the wrong tattoo and trouser strap so sorry for that.
Step 6
This is what Gray looks like when you’re done. Now you can go ahead and color him until he looks as good as in the anime. Thank you for joining me in this tutorial on how to draw Gray.
