Step 1
To draw the Road Runner you will need to draw a small circle for his head and then add guide lines on the face. Next, draw a guide line for his long, slightly curved neck, and then attach it to the egg-shaped body. You’ll then finish this step by drawing guide lines for the legs, tail, and feathers on the Road Runner’s head.
Step 2
In this step, you’ll use the feather guide as well as the facial guides to draw a thick, tall feather on top of this Looney Tunes character’s head. Next draw the shape of the head and then draw the eyes and beak. The same goes for color in some students.
Step 3
Finish the face shape with the left cheek and end the beak. You will then draw the shape of the Road Runners neck and then start outlining the torso and left thigh.
Step 4
Now complete the shape of the body and then draw out the long legs and feet as you see here. His legs are very crow’s feet and are one of the more dominant features of a Street Runner.
Step 5
For the final drawing step, you will draw the shape of the wing and then outline the long, feathery tail. Erase all the guides and shapes that you drew in step one and then move on to the next step which is also your complete line drawing step.
