Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below
You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below
Step 1
For the first step of the how to draw toilet tutorial, we will start with the seat and lid of the toilet. For the seat, we’ll start with a flat, thin oval.
Then we’ll surround it with another line that wraps around it for the outer edge of the seat. Then we can remove the lid for the toilet bowl.
This will be drawn with a circle on the top of the chair. You can finish off the lid by drawing another slight curve inside the contour for the lid to get some more detail.
When it looks like in our reference image, you’ll be ready for step 2!
Step 2 – Next, start unplugging the toilet bowl
Next, we will draw the water tank for your toilet drawing in this step. The cistern is a storage tank that is usually located behind the toilet, and it holds the water that is then used to flush it.
First, we will draw the bottom of the tank. This can be done with a curved, slightly square line extending from the seat and back up again.
Then we will draw a cap for the tank. You can draw this lid by drawing another curved and square line on top of it and extending from near the top of the open lid.
That’s all it takes for the tank in this section, so when you’re happy with how it works, we can move on.
Step 3 – Draw the handle and some other details
In the third step of this toilet drawing tutorial, we will add the handle along with some other details.
For the handle, you can draw a small circular flat shape inside an even smaller circle.
Then draw a line that touches this handle and goes down, and this will form the corner edge of the tank.
Once you’ve finished drawing the edge of that tank, we’ll start with the base of the toilet. First, draw a curved line down from the bottom of the tank.
Then, join another curve going down from that line, and then end this section with another curve in the outline for a curve on the base.
Step 4 – Now draw the rest of the outline for the toilet
You are now ready to complete the final sketch for the toilet drawing in this step. That should get you ready for some final details in the next step! This step is quite easy to do.
To start, simply draw a curved line going down from the left edge of the chair.
Then there will be another line that comes from that line and connects to the other side of the base you drew in the last step.
Once that’s done, we’ll add those final details in the next step!
Step 5 – Complete your toilet drawing
This step of our toilet drawing tutorial will include finalizing the final details so you’re ready for the final piece.
To do this, we are going to add some border on the entire body, seat, lid and tank of the toilet. This gives the toilet a little more shape and structure. Once you’ve drawn these final details, you’re ready for the next part!
However, you can also add some details of your own before doing so. There may be some accessories nearby such as a piston or toilet cleaner.
Another idea is to draw a small stool with a book or stack of magazines next to the toilet!
These are just a few possible ideas, but have fun getting creative as you prepare for the final step.
Step 6 – Complete your toilet drawing with some colors
For the final part of your toilet drawing, we’ll finalize it with some color.
We may think that toilets are usually made of white porcelain, but the truth is that they can come in all colors and designs.
In our reference image, we used pink for the seat and lid while using light blue for the rest of it. These colors are just our suggestion of one way that you can color this.
You can use our suggestions, but here’s also your chance to use some of your own amazing color choices! With your colors selected, what art media and tools will you use?
Are you going to buy paint or something like crayons and pencils? We can’t wait to see what you choose!
