Today I will show you how to draw Saitama from One Punch Man. Saitama is an interesting character who is tired of being a hero, simply because he is too strong. He’s one of the more unique characters to come from Japan in recent years and happens to be one of my favorites! So grab your pencil and get started!
You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below
Step 1
To start Saitama, we will first draw some kind of hourglass shape for his chest and belly.
Step 2
Next, draw a large oval for Saitama’s head and a few lines on each side of his head to create his neck.
Step 3
Draw two almond shaped eyes near the center of Saitama’s head.
Step 4
Next, draw a small dot for the pupil and two thin lines to create Saitama’s eyebrows. Keeping his facial features very simple will give us the bored look he is famous for.
Step 5
To complete Saitama’s face, draw two ovals for the ears, a thin line for the mouth, and a thin vertical line between the eyes for the nose.
Step 6
Next, we will need to draw the outline of Saitama’s circled arms as shown in the image.
Step 7
Draw a few lines to create creases on the arms in Saitama’s suit, as well as to create a split between his arms and gloves.
Step 8
Next, draw a sort of “V” shape on each of Saitama’s shoulders for the top of his cape.
Step 9
Draw the rest of the cape down the sides of Saitama’s body and draw two large round buttons on his shoulders to attach the cape to his vest.
Step 10
Next, draw a “T” shape on Saitama’s chest for the collar of his vest.
Step 11
Finally, zip the inside of Saitama’s collar and give him a simple belt with a large circular buckle.
Step 12
All that’s left to do is give Saitama some color. His suit is bright yellow with dark red gloves. And that’s it! I hope you enjoy learning how to draw Saitama from One Punch Man with me. If you’ve already done so, be sure to stop by for more tutorials. Happy drawing!
