Step 1
We started, as always, with a stickman – a man made of a stick and a circle, who would help us draw a representation of the character’s position, its proportions and its position on the paper.
Step 2
Start adding volume to Bloom. Use a thin, elongated cylinder to draw the arms. With curved lines, gracefully exalting the hands. Do not forget about one important detail – the bun protrudes in the crown area.
Step 4
Draw large eyes with almond shapes and pupils (note their position to shift the vision correctly). Draw lips and nose. Use confident, sharp lines around the contours of the face and hair, then erase all unnecessary guides from the previous steps.
Step 5
Erase the excess lines on the body and draw Bloom’s short clothes, the smooth vertical line of the bust and the top of the skirt. Also, don’t forget to draw the navel and the line on the belly and.
Step 6
Sketch gloves. Then erase the excess lines from the arms and circle the contour.
Step 7
Work on the skirt. The hemlines of the skirt, like the clothing above, should be angular and almost entirely straight. Don’t forget a few horizontal lines on the fabric, as well as a small cutout on the side. Remove the guide lines from the legs and circle the lines on Bloom’s legs. Finally color her.
