Step 1
Start by drawing a circle to outline the shape of the ball.
Step 2
Draw a curve over the top of the volleyball. This outlines the first part of the ball’s shell.
Step 3
Draw two “L” shaped curves over the top of the ball, outlining the other part.
Step 4
Draw curves from the corners of the existing sections to the edge of the ball.
Step 5
Draw a downward curve in the middle of the first part, dividing it in half.
Step 6
Draw a line through the first part near the edge of the ball and another line on top of the second part.
Step 7
Draw another curve over the second part.
Step 8
Draw a curve through the center of the volleyball.
Step 9
Draw a second curve through the center of the volleyball. Then draw “L”-shaped lines at the corners where the sections meet. This gives the parts a three-dimensional look.
Step 10
Color your cartoon volleyball. Volleyball are usually white, but they can be striped or any other color.
